Beyond the Sunset and Razor Wires

Timo Miller was kidnapped in broad daylight on a street in his hometown of Managua, Nicaragua, deported to the United States, and imprisoned for nearly eight months. His crime? Being a good Samaritan in a situation where man’s laws opposed God’s laws. Separation from family and church was painful, but Timo discovered that God was with him in prison. He found opportunities to witness and make new friends. Prison also provided time to pray and reflect on God, life, and the human condition. This compilation of meditations was inspired and written while Timo was behind bars. His writings encourage us that a person who knows Christ can be free in spirit even when his legs are shacked, his window is barred, and he is surrounded by razor wire.
